Naruto Four Tails Pivot

Sport: Crunch Day

Tomorrow, the XV of France will meet the England rugby team at Twickenham for the third day of the RBS 6 Nations. This match, more commonly known as "crunch" has always had a special flavor, for his decisiveness between the 2 nations Favorite Tournament and the prevailing animosity between the 2 countries. This year, the Crunch will be more important for France and England are only shortlisted for the Grand Slam and will probably meet in the quarter finals of the World Cup next October.

The issue is important and as usual, the match started in the press. Marc Lievremont, coach of the XV of France declared that "all say things without hypocrisy, we have a little trouble with the English." Whereas for Lawrence Dallaglio, former 3rd line XV de la rose, "The French have the desire to do so. A team, author of Grand Slam, which collects three tests at home (against Scotland, 34-21) is not an unforgettable team is not made of wood they made the big teams. "

However, the former England player is known to have supported and even declared his flame XV of France in a commercial for Nike, the supplier teams from France and England. This spot was broadcast in 1999, just after France's victory against New Zealand in the semi final of the World Cup. After the elimination of England in the quarter finals and South Africa the day before in the other semi-final, France remained the sole representative of the brand to the point in the competition before challenging Australia equipped by Reebok for the final victory.

This ad marked a lot and surprised me at the time because I did not understand how an English player could support the XV of France in knowing the great rivalry between the two teams and the personality of Dallaglio, not at all a player deemed to be very fair play. It simply illustrates that a sponsorship deal can push to do things unimaginable and humiliating. It is not yet born who will support the French XV of the rose and the words of our English friend, "Long live the Blues."

Homily of February 20 - 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time A

Church St Simeon - The door frame - 19/02/11 - 18:30
Church St Etienne - Origné - 20/02/11 - 10:30
7th Sunday in Ordinary Time A

(Text: Lev 19.1 - 2.17-18 - Psalm 102 to 1 3.16 to 23 Co - Mt from 5.38 to 48)

Welcoming remarks:

Brothers and sisters,

Do not respond to the offense, seeking to allay discord, pray for his enemies ... so many attitudes that are deeply those of Christ, as He calls us attitudes to cultivate in our lives, to be his disciples in deed and in truth.

Homily:

Brothers and sisters,

We continue our reading of this Sunday Sermon on the Mount in Matthew. We hear today the last two of the five examples chosen by Jesus to explain how he himself came to "fulfill" the law: he invites us to like him, surpassing the usual conduct of the people "reasonable."
First, Christ invites us to reject violence :
You have heard that was said: "An eye for eye, tooth for tooth."
Well, I tell you not to respond to the wicked;
- but if someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
- if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your coat.
- And if anyone forces you to mile, two miles in doing with it.
- Give to everyone who asks you;
- do not turn away from him that would borrow.
Let us be clear: the law of retaliation in the history of humanity and the Alliance, was a step forward. To overcome the natural tendency of man to seek revenge by making a lot more wrong with the man who had offended or hurt, the law provides for punishment of retaliation that is exactly proportional to the crime. Proportionate punishment for the offense, it is always, somehow, the principle of our human justice.

But Jesus calls us to overcome this need for punishment: to break the circle of the response, he calls, giving examples, to live a great self-control. The radical choice of non-violence is quite in harmony with the call to be servants of others, to be salt of the earth and light of the world.

Thus, the image of Christ, the disciple can become a "lamb of God" who would rather suffer injury rather than to give. We can, however, that is what Jesus said to himself: the self-control before the offense is not to be invoked when we witness the evil done to someone else. In this case, love of neighbor requires us to the aid of the victim.

Finally, Jesus taught love of enemies :
You have heard that it hath been said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy." Well I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, to be truly the son of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
If you love those who love you, what reward will you? Publicans themselves do not they do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what do you more? The pagans did not they do the same?
One might say two things: firstly that it is better not to have enemies, and secondly that the teaching of Jesus is unworkable! Jesus invites us to experience the extraordinary! If we are not going that far, are we really different?

already teaching on the failure to respond to the insult is not clear, but then he asks us to love those who hate us! We can of course not love everyone the same way, and love that Christ calls us to be our enemies is not what we bring to our families. He is not seeking to harm the enemy, not to seek revenge, and have a place for him in our prayers.

Surprising? And why not? If one considers that any person who allows himself to do evil is lost and need God's light to find the path of peace and love, why not to invoke the grace of God for our enemies ? It is not always necessary to know who's wrong or who is right, what is important is finding the path that will break the opposition.

When we pray, we can not content ourselves pray for the happiness of those we love, those who like us, those who think like us. Our prayer, if it is truly Christian is necessarily universal: that every man and woman in our world is discovering deep love of God.

Yes, Christ calls us to the extraordinary, beyond mere human justice. And he gives us the reference for this is the best:
So be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Thus, there is no 36 questions to ask: the reference for our actions, our words, our decisions, it is God himself. If only we could have this kind of reaction in any circumstance, try to look at the situation through the eyes of our heavenly Father! Then we would fullness that we have become through baptism: children of God, the Body of Christ.

Amen.

All Blacks and Sky Sports challenge us

Last September, three rugby players in New Zealand had staged a viral video for the television channel Sky Sports, in which they managed prowess rugby using special effects, even if the doubt was given license their skills. Following the success of this video, players Brumbies (Australian club) had made a travesty. (For more info, see my previous post there being spent)

And now there several days, the All Blacks have relapsed with a new video of the same type, in order to promote a contest to let users turn to show their talents with an oval ball (or hod dogs).

The best videos will be as and when aired on YouTube dedicated (and relayed by the Facebook page and Twitter account the contest) and winners will not be designated by the number of views but a jury of All Blacks, with VIP seating as a reward for a match and a meeting with the players.

I love this contest, either in concept, determining the winners and the nature of the lot. The contest is destined for rugby fans, it seems worthwhile to give participants a chance to show off their rugby skills, especially more than the best of them will be judged by players who are probably their idols and incidentally the best in the world. By this method, the contest loses virality probably because it does not appeal to the votes or the number of views, but it gains in relevance to a determination of winning more fair. Moreover, even if the winners are mandatory New Zealand residents, everyone can have the opportunity to have his exploits published on the Youtube channel of the competition. It remains for us to train ourselves to shine France.

But like the Brumbies team, players from another Australian team, the Waratahs (Sydney) have shown with their parody of the new video from New Zealand, begins when the Super 15, Provincial Championship in New Zealand, Australian and South African. The video was incorporated into the channel on Youtube Contest (New Zealanders have of humor) even if it had been better for Australian players to play the game of competition and therefore take this opportunity to show their values against their New Zealand rivals.

"Letter to my son-agnostic to explain the Christian faith" by Antoine Nouis

In the series of reading tips, here's another little book I just finished. If you want to revisit the Christian faith in less than 100 pages and learn how to explain to someone not believing this book will help you. Written
by a pastor of the Reformed Church of France, this is truly what the title says, he wanted to write a letter explaining the Christian faith who married his daughter, a young man of science and agnostic ... the story does not say what he thought of writing this!

4th cover
The son of author, scientist, is an agnostic, whereas the absolute remains inaccessible to humans. His stepfather, theologian, would explain why he believes in Jesus Christ and how his beliefs feed on the Bible and tradition. First, the author recalls to his son what the Bible says about the human, especially on matters of creation, significant chapter in the relationship between a scientist and a believer. Then he discusses what the Bible says about God before specifying the conditions for a Christian life, translated into the categories of faith as a gift, protest and confidence. In this letter, which reads in one go, "said Antoine Nouis essentially a Christian catechism with words and examples accessible to all, far from the language of wood and not resolving the challenges posed by other currents thought. We meet several examples from everyday life and some exciting stories to to stage an argument in favor of faith. This book offers a simple and clever little introduction to the Christian faith, for those who reject it, but for anyone who wants to deepen.

Welcoming remarks:
Brothers and sisters,
Here we are again gathered around the altar and ambo, to come to communion with the Body and the Word of Christ. We do not come just for us. We celebrate "for the glory of God and the salvation of the world" . Yes, as Jesus repeated in the Gospel, we are the salt of the earth and light of the world.
Homily:
Brothers and sisters,
The Word of God this Sunday uses the image of light, to discuss the just man, who fears the Lord. Man of faith, who trusts in God is a "bright man".
Thus, in the first reading the prophet Isaiah describes the one who takes care of the poor as a man whose light rises like the dawn, and builds relationships of peace and charity, a man whose light shines in the darkness.
just and generous man, by the rightness of his life, love acts in which he testifies about him, breaks the freezing of a society closed in upon itself, which deals not those in need. For the love of God which he testimony, which is a sign acting, which is a kind of "sacrament", the man just has to bring heat and light to those around him.
In the Gospel, Jesus compares himself to his disciples that he must put a lamp on a stand, for it gives light to everyone in the house.
Light a lamp and then hide it, put it under a bushel, though that's something that makes no sense, it's totally absurd! The lamp can not be hidden or covered or it does absolutely nothing, it loses its meaning and function, for which it was created.
The light is made to shine, to enlighten, to help them navigate, and the "light of men" corresponds with their good works, that is to say, with acts of love and justice: we are men and women in bright light when we do what is right and good about us. This is not the outer beauty that radiates, but holiness, and love it so. The love received from God and given to others is the only "cosmetic" that makes us truly shine and shine!
More seriously, the liturgy that brings us together around Christ becomes a celebration of light, that man just may radiate to the world by his testimony. The fair, flooded with divine light, becomes in turn a torch that shines and gives warmth. Unfortunately, we know we can sometimes be like lamps that is put under a bushel, if we move away from the source of light that is love of God, then we are like a candle private oxygen: we suffocate under a bushel and we may put it out. Bushel, can be our indifference to God, our dignity forget our baptism, our spiritual laziness, our submission to the imperatives of that time which reverses the thing to place man above God, money above the love, lust for possession over the pursuit of justice ... The ball is all that makes us forget or overlook one who said of himself: "I am the Light" .
The testimony of faith requires not only by words but also through works of justice and peace. The Christian, without hiding or become lazy, must be exposed to the light of God, especially beneficial rays of the sun Eucharist, for nourishment and, once received the Light, it does not "capture" or imprisoned under the "bushel" personal but he must shine on all those around him.
Then it will be truly faithful to his vocation, for which God created it: to love and be loved.
Amen.

What Kind Of Women Like Glory Holes

Victoires de la Musique: Lilly Wood & The Prick the hunt for votes on Facebook

Wednesday will be the 26th Victoires de la Musique, or more specifically the first section on the less prestigious categories. Among these categories, rewarding revelation that the public will be assumed as its name, voted on by users. After the first round (which I had the chance to vote), 4 artists or groups are in competition: Uncle Ben's soul, Camelia Jordana, and the group Zaz Lilly Wood & The Prick who stood out from other candidates their electoral campaign on Facebook.

While other candidates are content to publish calls for votes via their page on the social network, the Paris group has launched its page on an application having a contest for the fans. The principle of competition is to encourage fans of the group to vote in their favor and invite the most of their friends to do likewise. All these actions relate points but what earns the most is of course the votes of friends to encourage viralize the competition. The winner of the ranking, one fan who has been the most active, the more convincing with his friends, will have the chance to receive the group home for a private concert.

I love the concept of this contest because the group has understood the interest of social networks to his promotion (invitation to vote for the Victoires de la Musique with reminders video on Facebook messages via email Deezer) and to maintain a close relationship with the public or even reward them with a lot where the group really gives of himself, which gives an image of their group accessible building goodwill.

So if you're a fan of Lilly Wood & The Prick or if like me you will not have to see Zaz win vote for them (up to 20h Wednesday night).

Pub / Sports: Troy Polamalu, the "Sebastien Chabal" American football

Last night, the team the Green Bay Packers won the XLV Superbowl face the Pittsburgh Steelers. I'm not really a fan of American football but I'm interested in the Super Bowl like everybody and especially for commercials broadcast across the Atlantic during the program. The Superbowl is the event of the year for U.S. advertisers, so they used to go out all the stops for the most watched program in the United States and most expensive space purchases.

Among the players present at the final defender Troy Polamalu Steelers became the darling of advertisers. Besides being an excellent player (voted best Defender of the Year 2010), it is also very popular that his jersey is the most sold in the NFL. Its popularity among advertisers can also be explained by her hair atypical for this sport (which pays tribute to his Samoan roots and allows him to distinguish himself from other players once helmeted) through which he became ambassador for the brand of shampoo Head & Shoulders. Her hair is so important to the brand it has devoted a website: http://www.troyshair.com and has even performed for the modest sum of $ 1 million.

More Videos here

His performances on the pitch, his popularity with the public and its atypical look make it an excellent ambassador for the brands alongside Sebastien Chabal I surprised he is not even a brand ambassador of shampoo.

The French handball players earn and save Adidas

earned his fourth world championship title, the France team handball allowed to Adidas, his supplier, to bounce back after the fiasco of the French soccer players in South Africa and lost their shirts in favor of the historic Nike competitor. The national handball team is the only survivor of the collective national teams under contract with Adidas, so it is understandable that the brand with three stripes have wanted to put the package around this team.

Indeed, to communicate around the opening of these world championships, Adidas created a channel dedicated to handball on Dailymotion and had posted a video of 2 minutes 40 featuring 4 of the main players in superhero version with a graphic manga, a bit like what the brand was able to do with the Japanese team football. The video expert was quite noticeable on the net with over 100,000 views, which must be added those players also video testimonials posted on the chain.

Following the victory of the experts in the final last Sunday, Adidas wasted no time in the evening by posting a video celebrating the coronation of experts with the slogan " partner wins French sport "to remind us though that Adidas was the supplier of the France team football during his titles in 84, 98 and 2000 in addition to numerous victories in individual sports (athletics, fencing, judo , Cycling, ...). The realization of this video and the purchase of advertising space on the home page of the website team illustrate the overwhelming confidence of Adidas in the coronation of experts, as well as the expected production of 4-star jerseys.

Even if the experts were again the favorites for the competition, the final was very indecisive, can compromise the entire operation of communication Adidas and I wonder how they could connect after a possible defeat in the final. But fortunately for everyone, experts have prevailed and they have been received with great pomp the next day in the Adidas store on the Champs-Elysees. Despite the cold, many fans were there to cheer them, get autographs and eventually buy the team jerseys everywhere in the store. Yes but now, the promotional side Event has largely prevailed. The players spent more time with media than to fans arriving for a signing session too short that I could enjoy. I am comforted by having managed to get one of Claude Onesta, the coach, a little lost on the Champs among many fans. The objective of this course was for Adidas to join the success experts, but the result was frustration for many fans who made the trip.

Nevertheless, regarding the image of the brand, it is perhaps more interesting for Adidas to outfit the team from France's handball than football. Certainly, sales of jerseys and other accessories are lower but the benefits in terms of image should largely offset the more so as our national team handball offers more results and guarantee that international competitions are more frequent (championships world in odd years in Europe in even years and OJ every 4 years). Similarly, the image associated with this sport and these athletes is more rewarding for the brand, with a beautiful state of mind from these experts, high availability to fans in a sport less interested in money than others. Handball is also more socially unifying as football or rugby for example, more women with a competitive national team and quite understandable because we all or most practiced during our PE lessons.

Hearings before the final (7.3 million viewers) confirm the French interest in handball who could see a match with high quality entertainment, intensity, suspense. The French felt probably also need to be enthusiastic behind another national team football after the disaster in South Africa and performances winded XV de France. This new victory of French handball associated with significant investments from Adidas to promote this team will certainly help to handball to grow in popularity and visibility.

Welcoming remarks:
Brothers sisters,
"Happy! "... Christ calls us to be happy, that's good news! Christ invites us to find true happiness, one of his disciples. It invites us to look beyond this world and see the link between our life here and now, and the realization of the Kingdom.

Homily:
Brothers and sisters,
Gospel we just heard we just repeat what is being a disciple of Christ ... It is not the first to follow a list of rules of behavior. What is first is the story of love that unites us to God and all mankind. Of course, living in the love of God, this can not be done anyway: when I love someone, I try my behavior, my words, make him happy. Want to love God without trying to live as He asks me, is him lie and lie to yourself. A Christian faithful of Christ, can not and should not live forever in the same way as the others ... but do not put the cart before the horse! Being a Christian is not first comply with the commandments is, first love and tap into this source is love the life force adjusted to the love of God.
Now look a little closer to the speech of the Beatitudes. The main word of this passage is obviously the word "happy" which returns 9 times. It's like a refrain that has the rhythm of the speech Jesus. It may be noted that in these beatitudes there first 8 that belong together (including "the kingdom of heaven is theirs") and another, more developed, which is entering into any such development. This word very often in the Bible, always sounds like an encouragement, it is a dynamic word which means: you're on track, forward, continuous journey to the kingdom.
Beatitudes can be viewed both as a program of life that Jesus wants to give those who come to listen, and also as an invitation to look beyond the appearances of this world: each of us contributes to building the Kingdom of God with his little ways. The poor of heart, the meek, those who mourn, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness ... that's us! They are also all those whom Jesus had before him when he spoke, people in search ...
Jesus makes us look at everything through the eyes of God Himself and we learn to marvel ; the Kingdom is where we did not expect: the poverty of heart, sweetness, tears, hunger and thirst for justice, mercy, purity of heart, unjust persecution for Christ's sake ... Our weakness may become the raw material of the Kingdom of God.
All Beatitudes are virtually contained in the first. The Kingdom of Heaven is the promised land, the place of solace, where it is satisfied, where we see God ... So the important thing well first and foremost of poverty heart.
Let us on this idea. The poor of heart, are those who have not the heart or the proud haughty look, as the psalm says. These are the small, humble, like the publican in the parable. The poor in heart are those who do are not completely sated, satisfied, so full of themselves that there is more room for them in the Lord. The parable of the Pharisee was so full of himself, so self-sufficient, that there is in him the slightest room for the Lord.
Being a poor heart, I recognize that there is still a lack, an absence, a desire, a call to something bigger, more beautiful, more high vacuum only God can fill. Quality mentioned here is the spirit of poverty in which we can accept the gifts that God wants us.
Growing so in us that poverty of the heart that we leave space for us that God can be established. Open our hearts to the Lord, as poor and beggars in need of love from Him to reach their full communion with Him and among ourselves, to serve our brothers and sisters in humanity.
Amen.

Seen on Calvary ...

I'm not necessarily very comfortable with this little text, because the image of God that emerges bothers me little (a God who blames his followers ...), but this text has the merit to consider, including our representation of God and our relationship with Him.
This is a text read on an old Flemish Calvary in 1632, and that I found on the leaflet of Arcema (Association for the Restoration of Calvary Mayenne arcem.association @ wanadoo.fr):

I am the Light
And you do not see me I'm

And you do not believe me I'm

And you do look me I'm not

"The humble before God", a text of Brother Roger

A text of Brother Roger, alleging the book "Love all love" : You

which, without looking back, would follow Christ, you still dare again to trust the Gospel?

resume you momentum, led by the One who never win quietly with you? He, the Risen One is in you and in front of you on the road. The

you let drop in the pit of your own the freshness of a source? Or are you ashamed of confusion as to say: I am not worthy to be loved by him?

What fascinates in God is his humble presence. He never punishes, or injure human dignity. He does not pull on the rope to be obeyed. Authoritarian gesture disfigure his face. The impression that God is punishing is one of the biggest obstacles to faith.

Christ, "poor and humble of heart", do not force anyone's hand.

If needed, who would invite you to follow?

In the silence of your heart murmurs: "Do not worry, I'm here. "

Known or not, Christ, the Risen, remains almost everyone, even unconsciously, as an illegal immigrant.

blight in the heart of man, light in darkness, as he loves her only for you He gave his life, there is her secret.

Jesus Christ, Inner Light, give me to welcome your presence, I know the joy.
I love you, maybe not the way I want, but I love you ...
love of all love, you know, I give up my life for you and your Gospel.

The game's logo and trademarks, the advergame Society French consumption

a month ago for Christmas, my cousin received under the tree board game "the game's logo and trademarks." I discovered this game on the Internet thanks to the countless press releases on blogs and other sites "serious" and apparently this game is a success I was surprised and interested that my cousin was 11.

Specifically, the game revolves around the universe of brands and consumer products and so players must acknowledge their trademark logo and answer questions about their history, products and advertising campaigns. Yes, brands are becoming the subject of a board game and on reflection I do not think it's less legitimate than answer questions from Trivial Pursuit, as brands have become our daily lives. We buy them or not one likes them or not, we live with them. And you can

consider this Game as an advergame in the sense that it promotes these brands (some brands have apparently refused to be included) to the players by familiarizing them with the history of these brands. However, it differs from conventional advergames for brands are not on the initiative and what it pays is not common (eg games LEGO ). Similarly, it involves a large number of brands and so it can be considered an advergame for the entire French consumer society, just like the game show The Just Price. For these two games, participants play with the brands, their products and are rewarded by their knowledge of the consumer society, explains Barney Stinson in the series How I Met Your Mother (episode 20 of season 2) about the Fair Price (The Price is Right): "ICTR is Not just an entertaining hour of television Indescribably. It's a microcosm of Our Entire Economic System, a capitalist utopia, where, Consumers are Awarded for Their persistence, market acumen and intrepid spirit. "

Relationship trial Martyrs of Laval:
Fourteen priests were brought to the office of the Revolutionary Court Laval January 21, 1794. When came the turn of Father Jean-Baptiste Triquerie, President Clement asked him
- Have you taken the oath of 1791?
- No.
- The Oath of Freedom, Equality?
- No, citizen. I was on my bed, sick, when asked the oath.
- This is not an exemption, remarked with bitterness the Accuser Volcler public.
I was sick, I did make the registry on my bed and I signed the oath.
- Citizen, said the father Triquerie, son of Francis I, for my state, I must be dead to the world and did not know the laws. My sole occupation was to pray for my country, I have never failed to do.
- Do not come here to preach. And since you're more of the Franciscan chaplain, who gave you the means existence, since you have no money?
- Citizen, charity of the faithful.
Father Triquerie then asked the meaning of the oath required of him that we wanted.
- The oath that we demand of you, "explained the President Clement is to be faithful to the Republic, not to profess any religion or the Catholic who is probably yours ...
- Ah! really not a citizen, "said Father, I will be faithful to Jesus Christ until my last breath!
"Never shall I forget that response," added Mr Lee. This beautiful confession of faith touched me to my heart and I thought I heard the martyrs of the first centuries. "
At the end of his interrogation, Father Triquerie experienced syncope. One of his relatives, the wife of his cousin Ducret, brought him a bottle of wine and a glass she was passed from hand to hand.
Furious, Guilbert stopped the generous Christian who, for his act of charity, stayed three days in jail. The fourteen
confessors of the faith, death row, were led into the square where the guillotine stood. One of them told the crowd: "We've learned to live, teach us to die now."

Welcoming remarks:
[Saturday evening ]
Brothers and sisters,
Tonight at The Huisserie we welcome the first group of engaged couples preparing for marriage. They will marry our parish, or elsewhere in the course of this year 2011. This is an opportunity for us to pray with them and pray for them, for the love of God flooded the building and they know their marriage on solid foundations.

[Sunday morning]
Brothers and sisters,
This second Sunday in Ordinary Time somehow makes the transition between Christmas time and ordinary time, coming back to the founding event that is the baptism of Jesus .

Homily:
"Yes, I saw and I give this testimony is he is the Son of God. " This is the testimony of John the Baptist. He who, impelled by God, baptized crowds to prepare for the coming of the Messiah, that he is given to clearly identify Jesus as the Messiah expected by Israel. His true identity is revealed to him. The one that so far as he knew the son of Mary, the cousin of his mother Elizabeth, God the Father tells him he is more than that: it is His Son, the Son of God which the Spirit descends and remains.

can say this is the second time that John the Baptist announces that, since from the bosom of his mother, he had rejoiced at the meeting between Mary and Elizabeth, Visitation. So in this passage is revealed to us something fundamental about who God is one God and God is Trinity. Jean-Baptiste hears the voice of the Father, and he contemplates the Spirit descending upon the Son. No doubt that at the time, he does not understand all that this implies, but it demonstrates what we saw.
When he talks about Jesus, the first term he uses has become familiar, but perhaps it should come back: "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. " This sentence, we reiterate the heart of every Eucharist, before communion. The lamb is in the biblical world the symbol of purity and innocence. That is why during the festival of Passover, is sacrificed a lamb unblemished. It is the sign of the salvation brought by God to Israel at the same time as the sacrifice that sealed the covenant between God and his people.
Jesus comes to renew the alliance. After him, there will be more sacrifices, because once and for all, giving his life for love on the cross, it is definitively conquered sin. Through the gift of his life, his death and resurrection, Christ enables humanity to emerge victorious from his battle against death and sin.
That does not mean that there is no sin in the world ... If we look at our lives with a modicum of honesty, we realize that we sometimes sin "in thought, word, by action or omission. " If we live in Christ, then we can be with Him, conquered sin and death. By our baptism we are incorporated in the Body of Christ. So we can live this baptism, live from the love of God, to most fall into the hands of the divider, the one who inspires us in our hearts away from God.
One of the great sins that wounded the Body of Christ is the division that exists between its members. Did we realize that when we say evil of a brother or sister, as soon as we seek to impose "our" truth rather than seek together God's truth, we hurt the Body of Christ ? This is not to be silent when we feel we have reason or say yes to everything. But when we open mouth, when we make a decision when we act in the Church, it is always first for the sake of unity and communion. That's how we build the Church and that we will bear witness to the Gospel. "It's the love you have for each other that all recognize you as my disciples. "
In fact, perhaps what we lack most is caring: when someone does something that does not please me, I often suspect want to oppose me, to want harm, one way or another. And if we did the other the gift of our benevolence: I do not speak such and such an act, I do not understand what you mean or do, but I do not condemn you a priori. I offer you my good and we will talk together to understand what is happening.
Tuesday, January 18 will open worldwide week of prayer for Christian unity. Making a place in our prayer for this intention, because the divisions among Christians are a scandal which hinders the coming of the Kingdom of God. Working together in unity and pray that that visible unity among the churches to move forward and, even within our church, between groups of different persuasions.

Amen.
