I'm not necessarily very comfortable with this little text, because the image of God that emerges bothers me little (a God who blames his followers ...), but this text has the merit to consider, including our representation of God and our relationship with Him.
This is a text read on an old Flemish Calvary in 1632, and that I found on the leaflet of Arcema (Association for the Restoration of Calvary Mayenne arcem.association @ wanadoo.fr):
I am the Light

Route

Truth
And you do not believe me I'm
Life
And you do look me I'm not
your Master
And you do not listen to me I am your
Head
And you do not obey me
I am your God
And you do not ask me I'm your
Great Friend
And you do not love me
If you are unhappy,
Do not blame me.
